Evaluation Guidelines
Your team is required to submit an entry that solves a problem. You may attempt to solve virtually any problem. To spur your thinking, here are a few entry examples.
Competition events will be distinct and judged as follows:
Critical Thinking Skills
All entries must include a Critical Thinking Summary that answers the below-noted questions.
- What problem did you intend to solve?
- Who will benefit from your entry?
- What unique value does your entry offer to users?
- What type(s) of research did you conduct?
- Did you conduct your own research? For example, did you implement a survey, a poll, an experiment, or a field study? Did you conduct interviews with experts? Did you do something else?
- Did you use information that was created and published by another person? What/whose work was used, and did you credit them appropriately?
- Does your entry effectively solve the problem? How did you test your solution?
- What impact did this project have on your team? What did you learn by participating?
