About
ThinkQuest Japan is a website competition for junior high and senior high school students. Three to six student members and one coach make a team to create their website about what they are interested in.
Finalist teams will gather in Tokyo to make presentation about their website before the judges and audience. The most outstanding team will be given the Best Entry Award.
ThinkQuest Japanは、中高生が、チームをつくり、自分たちの興味のあるテーマで、Web作品を作るコンテストです。
ファイナリストに選ばれたチームは東京に集まり、作品のプレゼンテーションを行います。優秀作品には、文部科学大臣賞などの大臣賞、特別賞が授与されます。

Prizes
5 top teams from each Age/Regulation sub-division which will get 20 in total will be awarded as Finalist Teams.
The Awards to the Finalist Teams are as follows.
The Platinum Award will be given to most excellent 1-2 teams from each Age/Regulation sub-divison.
The Gold Award will be given to excellent 1-2 teams from each Age/Regulation sub-divison.
The Silver Award will be given to very good 1-2 teams from each Age/Regulation sub-divison.
And the Best Entry Award will be given to the most outstanding team among all of the Finalist teams.
Newly added special awards and the prizes for the respective award will be announced on the ThinkQuest Japan Competition website when decided.
中学生の部(規定部門/自由部門)、高校生の部(規定部門/自由部門)のそれぞれの部門において上位5チーム、合計20チーム程度を「ファイナリスト」として表彰します。
ファイナリストに贈られる各賞は以下の通りです。
プラチナ賞
対象：中学生の部(規定部門/自由部門)、高校生の部(規定部門/自由部門)のそれぞれの部門において最も優秀な作品1～2点
金賞
対象：中学生の部(規定部門/自由部門)、高校生の部(規定部門/自由部門)のそれぞれの部門においてプラチナ賞に次いで優秀な作品1～2点
銀賞
対象：中学生の部(規定部門/自由部門)、高校生の部(規定部門/自由部門)のそれぞれの部門において金賞に次いで優秀な作品1～2点
最優秀賞
対象：全部門を通じて、最も優秀な作品1点
設定される特別賞および副賞については、決定次第、随時ThinkQuest JAPANのWebサイトにて発表します。
