Alaska from a Kid's Point of View

The objective of this entry is to help kids all over the country and the world who are studying about Alaska in Social Studies. We want to let them know what it is really like to be a kid in Alaska. They can find lots of facts about Alaska in other places, but we couldn't find any other source that could help kids know what it is like to really live here. We want to inform kids about our lifestyles and hobbies because even though we live very different than most kids, we are the same in a lot of ways. If kids are doing reports, this is a fun place they can look up information they probably can't find anyplace else. It might help kids understand how exciting it is to live in Alaska if they can read about our adventures. We want to tell kids about things they didn't even know existed so they will want to come to Alaska someday and see for themselves.
