The Impeachment Process
1999
This entry is a description of the United States impeachment process. It is an attempt to show everyone around the world that in the U.S., no one is above the law, not even the president.
This page contains both a detailed description and a quick reference guide to the impeachment process. It also features a gallery of impeached presidents. In this gallery there is information showing how Andrew Johnson, Richard Nixon, and Bill Clinton were subjected to the process. The page also contains the voting results of the impeachment trial of William Jefferson Clinton.
Many graphics are included in the page. Portraits of all three presidents are in the gallery. There is also the President's seal and the US Flag on various divisions of the page. At the intro page there is the theme "Hail to the Chief."
The educational objectives are to teach users about the process in general and to attempt to spark an interest in the government and democracy in general.
