The Legend of Atlantis

When one searches the Internet for "Atlantis", one finds that it is devoid of good information on the subject. Through interactive tools, we take visitors to our site through the city of Atlantis as described by Plato, giving details on the legend. The relevant works of Plato are available through the site. We explore these works and delve into the clues which they leave for archaeologists and historians. The city of Troy was once considered purely myth; we know now that the myth was based in fact. Therefore, we explain several popular theories concerning the reality of Atlantis We explain the archaeological method. Our goals are that the users of our site develop an ability to be able to judge the different theories as to where Atlantis might be, being well informed in the legend and instructed in the archaeological basics.
