Have you ever wondered what creatures live along the rocky shores of the Pacific Ocean? Secrets are hiding along the many rocky shores. If you explore carefully with lots of patients you will see how much activity goes on in the tide pools. This site will help you and many other viewers understand how tide pools work. You may find out how anenomies protect themselves or how barnacles eat. You might even learn why sea urchins have spines. No matter what you learn we hope you have fun.
Tide pools are part of something called the intertidal zone. In the tide pools there are three different tidal zones. The high intertidal zone, the mid-intertidal zone, and the low intertidal zone. We will also tell you about these tidal zones. Each animal and plant has their own reasons to live in their own tidal zone. We'll share the secrets of the tide pools with you.
