This site describes the events leading to the Japanese conquest of Singapore and Malaya with a special focus on the occupation in Singapore. The site shows examples on oral accounts of war survivors to give their impression of the Japanese and the wartime experience under their new master.Also attached is a collection of students' essays on an assignment question "Could the Japanese be forgiven for WW2" and these essays were attempted by Sec 2 Normal Acedemic students in Singapore.
