A very user-friendly, colorful web site that depicts the life of artist Paula Rego, born in Portugal. While the biographies about her are interesting and informative, it is her works of art that are the most important. All the pictures are categorized into different periods, such as "The Dog Women" period. Each has a written explanation of why Rego painted these pictures. This is an excellent source to use for high school art or English class.
