The Cosmic Wonders Corporation invites the user on a tour of 7 chosen wonders of the universe: galaxies, nebulae, comets, supernovae, black holes, pulsars, and quasars. Especially in the first two, attention is drawn to the beauty of the wonders and it is as if one were sight-seeing. Throughout the site, detailed information and mind-boggling figures are given to pique interest and provide a conversational knowledge of these astronomical wonders. Each wonder is divided into the sections: intro, from the CWC; fast facts; history, usually initial discovery and developing explanation over the years; in-depth explanation, the longest, most detailed portion; theories and controversy, any new speculations or long-standing scientific disagreement over the wonder; and viewing window, where the user can get nice pictures as well as information on the specific objects they represent. There is also a convenient pop-up dictionary the user can reference whenever he/she doesnt know a highlighted term, or wants further information. The information and visuals are presented in a GUI designed to look like the interior of a personal spacecraft in the interest of making learning about this stuff even more fun. The user could really get into this site and spend hours and only half of that would be download time :)
