Looking tomorrow through today's eyes

How do you imagine the school of the future?
When this question was asked in few classes, their imaginations were unimaginable.It is a surprising thing to know that these children have the knowledge of latest technologies to a large extent and they know how to connect their knowledge with future.
These are some of their ideas about future schools:
1.There won't be any school building
2. The term 'teacher' will not exist
3.It will be a life long learning where we can choose our own subjects
4. children will be very intelligent but will not be able to think even a simple answers like what is 7+7 .They depend on machines to get the answer.
5.No names will be there.Teachers will be replaced by robots and robots recognize every one by numbers.So every student will have some identity number.
6. Some duplicate children in the form of robots will be created and there will be a lot of confusions between the real & the machine world.
7.Laser technology will be wide spread.
8.The differences in color, religion, culture etc. will be minimized and there will be a common "Machine" culture.
So on and so forth.
In spite of such a vast imagination children felt sad when they start thinking that no system from today's school will exist in future schools. They felt sad for the future generations that how it will be possible to sit at home all the time if there is no school? How it would be if you are called with a number?
If so much disciplined, mechanical life starts, how the future children will do mischief? and many more such type of worries!!
Finally a group of six students got selected whose imagination was excellent and were asked to take up the job,connecting today's real school & tomorrow's Imaginary schools with their imagination.
The site is created with the team's own paintings their own version of tomorrow's education and think quest tools.
Project has helped to bring out the imagination of kids to their best.Some of the photographs of school students are taken in school itself.

Team Collaboration
Basically all the six are good at drawing and also good dreamers.
These qualities helped them to put any given situation in words and through their own paintings.
Each member was given a different situation that happens in today's school atmosphere (for example the treatment of late comers in school, the beauty of school garden, class room teaching etc.) and asked to convert the same in terms of situations that is going to exist in future school.Every one accepted their responsibilities,permitted other members to edit their articles,discussed in groups for improvements and also enjoyed their own imaginations and excited to think of the changes.The team members were so involved in the project that even in sleep they dreamt the actions of robots in future.They were laughing at each other when they used to discuss their dreams in school.

Team Diversity
Though in the team each one is equally good at drawing their imagination and the way of expressing their ideas varied from each other.Each one was given freedom to express on their own way.
No sites referred to bring out this project.Children with their own diverse ideas,paintings and some photographs, created the site.
