"The Broadway Corner for Kids," creates an interactive style of learning that encourages students to take advantage of the Internet as a source of information and powerful collaboration tool. The objective of this Web site is to introduce k-6 students to the various aspects of five selected theatrical works based on researched information. Students must become independent users of information to the productive citizens of the 21st century. Therefore, "Broadway Corner for Kids" allows students the opportunity to locate, evaluate, and use the needed information in Guess Quest, Broadway Squares, and Internet Scavenger Hunt. In Guess Quest students identify theatrical characters. Students read researched materials to identify the characters. In Creative Corner, students respond to literature and make connections between literary texts and their own lives.
