What are the needs of our community? What kind of business would satisfy these needs? Students are expected to create a business plan for an area of need within our local community of Tom Price, Western Australia. Once agreed, they needed to promote their business using any promotional materials.

Team Collaboration

Students brainstormed types of businesses and found that internet research was not really appropriate for their project. Instead they had to rely on their own ideas and experiences. Once they agreed on the concept they worked together, different students each taking on responsibility for different aspects. The final editing was done collaboratively.

Team Diversity

This team was comprised of 3 different year levels and both genders. There were a wide range of possible choices to begin with, based on students personal likes/dislikes, however, they compromised and agreed in the end.
