Empty Bowls

Empty Bowls is a fundraiser for Larimer County's Food Bank. With today's economy, more people need to get their groceries at a reduced price or even free. The Food Bank of Larimer County helps fill these needs. Empty Bowls is the food bank's biggest fundraiser. We hope our website will encourage people to help their community and to make people aware of others' needs. We will use local resources to provide supporting facts.

Team Collaboration

Shaefer was good at exploring programs and finding out how to put things on the program. Ruben was good at putting together videos and comming up with good ideas. Catherine was good at making the newspaper article. Chandler was good at thinking and typing.

Team Diversity

Most of our recources were first-hand. We used the internet for a minimal amount of information of our web site. We went to the food bank and interviewed the manager, Charlene, and voluntered at the food bank. We also intervied the founder of Empty Bowls. The team went to the banquet at the Hilton Hotel to experience the Empty Bowls Banquet. Our team's diversity was that two of the members like to learn about computers outside of school and one likes to set up websites. This diversity helped by giving us background experience with computers.
