Our title, Beam Me Up Scotty! The Physics of Star Trek, gives a brief description in laymen's terms how the processes of the Starship Enterprise D functions during the popular television show, Star Trek: The Next Generation. We discussed such topics as Warp Field Theory, Transporters and Deflector shields. We hope after visiting our site, one will have new insight into Star Trek and maybe even watch or continue enjoying the show just as much as we do.
