A Cape Cod Sketchbook Revisited

1999
In 1939, an artist named Jack Frost wrote a book entitled "A Cape Cod Sketchbook". This book contains over 60 pen and ink sketches of places on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Each of us live in a different town on the Cape, and we wanted to teach other kids about our towns' landmarks and histories, and also learn a little bit about each other's towns, too.Our team revisited many of the places drawn, take new pictures, and share the original pen and ink drawings and the new digital pictures with everyone who visits the Web site. By adding additional, historical information about the landmarks, we hope to share a bit of Cape Cod's history with students around the world. We hope this will encourage other students to make Web sites about the history of their own town, city, or region.
