Team Collaboration

When TQ announced that there is a Narrative Competition, Zenon was already interested in joining. He chose the topic question: "What leader do you admire?" Why? Then we had our Team Building Activity last March 30, 2009 and Mark Archie joined the team. Later on, Edison joined the team as well to complete the requirement of 3 students to join the competition. The team members go to school by schedule or the days they are available. As the team leader, Zenon appointed the team members on what work each should do. We planned researching the needed information for the project in order to proceed in writing them into narrative way. In this manner, we could not be so stressed in researching and writing what we have researched in a narrative way at the same time. Since, we only have a limited time, we divided the topics we need to search, Zenon researched on Natural Born Leaders, Ramon Magsaysay and Benazir Bhutto, Edison worked on Franklin Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln and Mark worked on Manuel Quezon and John F. Kennedy. Sometimes, we worked outside the school and rented computers in shops to fulfill our project. After the researching process, we then proceeded to changing informative articles to narrative context. We had much hardships in narrating these articles because at first, we don't know how to. It's just then when Mr. Regencia told us how to do so. After narrating, we finally made our last step -- the citations. After that we passed our project to our team coach for final evaluation. And that's how we worked for our project!

Team Diversity

As three different people, each of us is unique. We have our own characteristics. Mark who is an incoming second year student is interested in reading history books and painting scenic spots that represent arts and history so there is no wondering why he chose to join the project that is about the leaders who are now in oblivion. Zenon, an incoming fourth year student, has interests related to science, math, and english. He is also interested to music. Moreover, he had experiences as being a leader in classroom and clubs. Edison, on the other hand, is interested singing, dancing, playing computer games, playing volleyball, reading , surfing the internet, eating and watching TV especially anime. He chose to be in the group because he wanted to experience working by himself and working with others. It is a cool experience for him. Being different from the others does not actually brings negativity, at least the team experienced working with other individuals whose minds and insights contributed a lot.
