Project: Inca
2000
For millennia, the Incans have developed a government and a civilisation that spanned an area from modern day Ecuador to Argentina. With an unimaginably complex network of cities, people and roads all weaved into the high altitudes of the Andes, the despots of this large empire brought up a kingdom, where no one ever went hungry and crime was virtually unheard of.
For centuries, the Incas ruled over their mountainous realm in peace the same kingdom was brought down to its knees by Spanish invaders within 40 years, leaving behind nothing but cities built on perilous precipices and ruins with foundations so solid, that they have remained standing to this very day. The famous lost city of Machu Piccu can only serve as evidence to the Incans' wonderous architectural achievements.
Our web site aims to bring visitors on a trip through the depths of time, to witness the growth and the peak of the Incan Empire and at the same time, see it fall from grace during the Spanish invasion.
Visitors will be amazed by their architectural wonders, appalled at the atrocities theyve been submitted to and yet, taken aback at what theyve been building all the time, cities, a reputation and most of all.. a mystery.
