Team Collaboration

We were all very motivated to learn about history and we also thought that making a website was cool. We couldn't wait to get started on our reports. We worked a lot together both at school and outside school meeting at different homes. We didn't realize how complicated history can get and we had to work hard to understand what we read. One of our team members interviewed his grandpa about his experience in the Vietnam War. It was very interesting to learn what he had to say. The hardest part for us was the editing and getting in the citations. We learned a lot by doing this project and it made fourth grade fun.

Team Diversity

We are a diverse team. Although we all live in the United States, one of our team members is from Bosnia. While many of the lessons are about the United States, we purposely chose to include information about leaders from many different countries in order to make our site appealing to kids from all over the globe. We also wrote about the Olympics in Sarajevo 1984, which left a positive message to the world.
