Rex Rampage
2001
Rex Rampage is designed to expose children in grades 4 through 6 to dinosaurs of the Cretaceous Period, highlighting Tyrannosaurus Rex, the great fossil find of paleontologist, Sue Hendrickson. The capsulized information and appealing illustrations give users a glimpse of what dinosaurs may have been like during the period and how they ultimately became extinct. An entire section is devoted to "A Day with Sue Hendrickson" at the Bishop Museum in Honolulu, complete with photos of "Sue T-rex" fossils on exhibit and hands-on activities that four of our team members had the good fortune to experience. Ms. Hendrickson's impressive expertise and enthusiasm may very well inspire users to become future paleontologists.
