Team Collaboration

Tudor M.: "The participation on this project had a great influence on me because I improved my team work, my computer skills and I had the opportunity to improve my English. The fact that I had the chance to create original pages in the project using all kind of materials like paper and wood (for making instruments) really improved my imagination. This project gave me the occasion to meet some older and younger students from my school and I made some great new friends.

Using the information from some books about G. Enescu we created an interesting page called “Testimonies about the essence of music”.

The only thing I didn't like when I was working on the project is that the site is very time consuming.

During the project we had great coordination from our teachers Lucia Gogea and Diana Vezentan, who advised us and gave us indications."

Mihai F: "The work on this project really builds up us as a team so I learned to work with other students. I’ve learned that teamwork is very important in this kind of projects and it’s more useful than working alone.

We started the project by making drawings while listening to Enescu’s compositions. Some of the drawings are posted in the project, in our “Portrait Gallery”. We also made our own photos thanks to our photographer Marian G. who made most of the pictures posted in the project. Also I’d like to remember the 6th and 9 th graders that manually made musical instruments from paper and wood as you can see in our “Learning by doing” page.

I hope that by doing this project we will interact with people all around the world, to start friendships and to change experiences. Finally I would like to thank all the students that have worked in the project and last but not the least our coordinative teachers: Mrs. Lucia Gogea and Diana Vezentan."

Team Diversity

Although the students have different hobbies : for example, Mihai F. is the captain of the high school basketball team and he participates to the Final Tournament of the national basketball league U18 and he listens to ambient music, Tudor M’s passion is computer science and software, and he’s a big fan of the local football team “Universitatea Cluj” and Anca R. is a member of the school’s choir and she’s a big fan of anime they all found a common interest for G. Enescu’s work, cooperating to this project and doing a great job.

Their action inspired younger and older students from their school.

They used information from both books and internet and created interesting material for the project, inspired by the ecological movement, using only recyclable materials.

It was a big challenge to modify the classical drawing made by their class mates using professional software successfully.
