"This Planet Really Rocks" is a website that was created by a team of fifth and sixth grade students to create interest in the fascinating world of rocks and minerals. This website contains informative pages about the origin, classification, recycling processes, important uses of rocks and minerals. In addition, examples of the most common rocks and minerals are highlighted with specific information and photos. A glossary of geological terms is also included. Furthermore, many collaborative activities have been incorporated in this website to enhance the student''s learning about rocks and minerals.
