Our team of six girls created a web page catering to the interests of sixth-grade girls. Their topics included dance, sports, fashion, baby-sitting, budgeting, and shopping. A team member discussed the historical beginning of ballet, and she created a corresponding quiz. The latest fashion trends were reported along with a fashion quiz. Baby-sitting pages were developed to help young girls to form a practical and safe approach to baby-sitting. A quiz was made to test baby-sitting knowledge. Shopping and budgeting pages were constructed to give sound ways of managing money. Educational goals were to create a web page using Netscape Composer, and to learn the capabilities available to us. Another goal we to learn to incorporate pictures taken from a digital camera and to manipulate them for use on the web page.
