Although we classified our site as "science" and there is much science information on it, we also tell about where rainforests are located and how you can help save them - so our site has a social science side too. What we wanted to do was get KIDS to find out the BASICS of rainforests. Many of the sources we looked at were really hard to understand and we wanted any elementary student to be able to understand our information. Rainforests are so beautiful that we wanted our site to have pretty graphics, so we worked hard on that part too. We hope people learn: * what is a rainforest * what are the types * where they are found * why it's important to save them and what a kid can do to help save them
