ASEAN is a regional organization consisting of 10 states in Southeast Asia. Formerly a turbulent area, this website traces how the “Balkans of the East” developed into a thriving economic region. Though it holds potential for further economic growth, there are still several stumbling blocks to ASEAN’s success.
