Happy Dogs, Happy People
2001
Lately the Swiss newspapers have been filled with reports on dogs attacking people. This has added to the "fighting dog" breeds?
bad reputation. We are convinced that it isn?t the breed, but the people who make an aggressive dog. On this website you can
learn how to avoid aggressiveness by handling dogs in a gentle way. This is useful knowledge for everyone, whether they own a
dog or not. You will find articles on Clicker training (which uses a magical device to teach your dog a bag full of tricks), tips on
how to act when you encounter a dog, relaxing techniques for dogs and humans, and much more. After reading our articles, you
can test your knowledge by playing games and taking quizzes. For those who want to learn more than just the basics described
here, there is a list of good books and links.
We hope this site will help many dogs to have happier lives. And of course a happy dog has a happy person at its side.
