Technology and Language Arts go hand in hand as kids contribute to an international database of "favorites." Students learn that writing and databases can be fun. Art, Geography, and Healthful Living integrate in the creation of "postcards" on the web, which show unique features of a web visitor's home. Again, writing comes in, but in a fun, "clue-full" way. Geography or history has never been more fun to learn than this way. This web page also leads to increased understanding of cultural and human diversity. Results and "hits" could be analyzed mathematically or geographically. This is interactive, child-centered, interdisciplinary learning at its best. It is real life information via global communication.
