"German School New York 3-D Model" is a demonstration of Virtual Reality for the Internet , which can be applied to anything that needs a visual interpretation. The German School was chosen as the object of the project, so that future students of this school from other countries will be able to visit before their families are transferred to the U.S. An architectural scene of the school is depicted in VRML. This enables the viewer to see and manipulate the scene on the screen in real time 3-D. The site goal is to familiarize as many students as possible with the unique possibilities of VRML. A movie clip of computer renditions of the school is also included. Languages: English, German.
