"Out Of This World Art" is a website that highlights 6 different art mediums and the people and cultures in history that this art was important to. The art mediums include masks, stained glass, prehistoric painting, blue willow china, aboriginal art and totem poles. After reading about the type of artwork and exploring the links provided, users are invited to try a related art project of their own. The instructions, procedures and material lists provided will be very helpful to students and teachers. This site also includes a link to NYS Learning Standards. This will assist teachers as they work to align art to the other areas of their curriculum.
