Pirates "Brethren of the Seas"

2001
Pirates, "Brethren of the Seas" explains both the facts and mysteries surrounding pirates during the period of time when piracy was most active. Our site is divided into sixteen separate topics related to pirates. This will allow people of all ages to learn about how pirates lived both on land and sea. A comprehensive description of the history of piracy in general and its effect on shipping around the world can be found on the site. We included the history of the role of the Spanish in the New World and their influence on the development of piracy. You will find links both in the body of the site as well as on a links page listing many of the great pirate sites that captured our interest. There are games such Pirate Clues, Pirate Trivia, interactive activities and even a pirate game that can be printed out and played with your friends. We really want to know your opinion of the site and hope that you will send us your comments and questions, so we’ve included a guest book, an e-mail address. Please take time to let us know what you learned and any questions that pop into your head while you're visiting our site, Pirates, "Brethren of the Seas."
