Very Low Frequency Radio Project
1996
Listen to the amazing sounds of natural radio waves: tweeks, whistlers, and chorus. Some are created by natural conditions such as lightning, the aurora borealis, and other phenomena. Others may come from outer space! Normally in a range you cannot hear, you need a special piece of equipment to receive and change them for your listening pleasure; directions for assembling your own "INSPIRE" ("Interactive NASA Space Physics Ionospheric Radio Experiments") kit are here.
