Time and History: The Essence of Time

1999
The Essence of Time was created to further the understanding of physics, dominantly the physics of time, in a way that could not be considered "hard-to-read" and maybe even "fun". Our website attempts to make learning about time fun, through easy-to-read Educational Articles, VRML worlds, Internet Postcards (hereby known as "iCards"), and the Birthmonth Greetings Section. The latter section allows the user to learn major events that happened in his or her Birthmonth. Team 27691 also believes in the communication between user and webmaster, and so we have attempted to make this process as easy as possible. We also understand that many schools in English speaking countries do not have top-of-the-line modems or computers, so we created three different versions of our website so that any computer can easily access our page. As a bonus to teachers, our website also includes a full lesson plan perfect for any science class. Our objectives are simple: 1. Provide a user-friendly environment that teaches complex material in an easy-to-read and fun manner. 2. The Essence of Time will have the "cleanest" environment and combine with that superior articles and services.
