"The Exciting World of Birds" brings students from around the world together to participate in a research study that is based on bird migration patterns. This website provides students with an interactive lesson on various birds in almost every region around the globe based on our own bird citations and research in Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands and the Vermont Raptor Center. Visitors can be involved with the current bird protection projects. Features of the site include illustrated fact sheets, clickable migration maps, explanations on the history of habitats, bird citations, and non-for-profit bird protection organizations. From the base that this site provides, the sky is literally the limit. Languages: English.
