The focus is on Hmong History & Culture. Hmong are an Asian ethnic group that fought with the CIA during the Vietnam War. Because of their involvement in the war, they were persecuted and forced to escape by crossing the Mekong River into Thailand. The US, because of their promise, brought thousands of Hmong over when the war was over
