An End to World Hunger: Hope for the Future

2000
More than 840,000,000 people suffer from hunger. That's about three times the population of the USA. This is chronic, persistent hunger, which kills 24,000 people every day, or over 8 million each year. Three of four who die are younger than five. The problem of world hunger, particularly chronic persistent hunger, can be solved - even within our lifetimes.
