Doughnuts

Students take a look at the history of doughnuts, and how they play a part in our social lives. They interviewed doughnut businesses in our area; two national chains and an independent doughnut maker. They titled this section "Doughnut Wars" as they looked at the competition among these companies. They looked at the health issues of doughnuts(fat and sugar content) and passon a recipe for a healthy doughnut. They looked at the popularity of doughnuts by surveying their classmates and different organizations to see how often doughnuts are eaten and what types. There is fun section of doughnut jokes. Students will also provide opportunities for viewers to E-mail with questions or comments.
