The main purpose of our entry is to give a broad overview of three major areas of artificial intelligence research. The three areas covered are genetic algorithms, neural networks, and fuzzy logic. In addition our entry includes a brief overview of Alan Turing's contributions to artificial intelligence research. In the three areas of our entry, we attempted to provide an overview of the topic, an example, and a statement of the possible applications of the technology.
