Teaching History with GIS provides resources for two target audiences, teachers and students. We have provided information on what GIS is, why it is appropriate for educational use, and how it can be used for teachers to teach and students to learn history. The main features of this site are a history database for students and a GIS resource page for teachers. Other features include history quizzes and interactive maps for testing geography.
