All About Plants

The website is designed to be used by fellow sixth graders everywhere as an overview/introduction to their study of plants. This topic is generally covered in grade six, but our website will certainly be useful to seventh and eighth graders or to elementary age students who might be studying the topic for the first time. Besides the textbook-type "scientific" information which is presented, such as how plants grow, how they reproduce, how they make food, and some of the "strange things" plants do, other information is included so that relationships between science and other areas of interest is established. These other areas include poetry, music, movies, and jokes about plants. In addition, we hope the inclusion of original artwork will inspire students with an artistic talent to see its potential uses online.
