Team Collaboration
Working in a group has advantages. In our group, everyone did their own thing, to make our website what it is. Manali, Christine, and Melissa looked for creative ways to make our website unique. They looked at different navigation bars and design templates that would fit our topic. Manali did a lot of work to help the team because she edited pictures. She made our pictures look nice using a program she was comfortable with and knew how to use. Christine and Manali took the time to learn the basics of Flash, to add animation to our site. Melissa played the captain role by keeping everyone on task and giving times and dates to have things done by. She also proofread everyone’s work to make sure it was correct and gave suggestions on how things should be fixed. Devika and Laylee gave suggestions on where links should be placed. Everyone gave feedback on color choices and the layout.
Team Diversity
Our team was very diverse in ethnicities. Manali is Indian, Devika is Indian, and British. Laylee is Filipino and Persian, and Christine is Chinese. Melissa is Korean, Chinese, and Japanese. Having a different ethnicity gave each person a different perspective on our topic. We used book sources as well as Internet sources. The book sources added detail because it went in depth on our topic.
