COLORs All Around
2009
Our Website aims to provide role of COLORs in our lives. COLORs play a important role in our day to day activities. COLORs around us effect our emotions, behavior and mood. PINK color is considered as most fascinating COLOR for children specially girls. RED color is seen from a long distance. WHITE color shows us signal of PEACE. GREEN shows us prosperity. BLUE whispers silent depth (as Sea). BLACK (Darkness) allows us to relax. Arts and Science, in both the subjects COLOR plays its role in a significant manner. Bright COLORs attract our eyes at the same time Pastel (Dull) shades of COLORs give us soft and comfortable feel - both type of COLORs are important for us in our life.

Team Collaboration
Our team consists of six members, each a specialist in his or her own field. Four of us are from New Delhi, while Anushri and Ayush come from the state of Gujarat. Though they never actually met the rest of the team, our collaboration was smooth and extremely efficient. The functioning of our team was thanks to mainly Paul Bulchheit, the guy who initially thought of developing Gmail. Firstly, we formed a chainmail on our Google accounts to maintain a record of our correspondance. Initially, we found ourselves devoid of a goal i.e. without a topic. Random brainstorming included suggestions like "Teen Dictionary" and "Science Behind Magic". Finally, someone suggested a topic we all agreed upon - COLORS. We all feel we know all about them, but a closer introspection of our thoughts reveals that our opinions are quite convoluted. This topic gave us room for creativity, to literally be able to do whatever we want. But this open-endedness also posed a challenge for we found it quite difficult to decide where to begin! Slowly, as each of us poured in our ideas, we formulated four branches which effectively covered this wide topic. Similarly, challenges arose, and solutions were found. It took weeks of vague doodling to finalise a template which was then converted by Tanay and Varun to a true marvel of coding. Ayush, our junior-most member, clicked a lot of photos, but they all seemed to miss the mark, keeping in mind relevance to our topic. But this gritty 13-yr old dug into his archives and gave us some truly inspiring snaps. Anushri used her amazing data-mining skills to concise the vast amount of information available to us into interesting snippets, which make for a fascinating read. She was ofcourse, helped at every step by Shubham and his indispensable editing skills. Credit for illustrations also goes to him. Giving a brief, fun introduction to the website was Rishabh's job. His colorful presentation, though bordering on childish, accurately encapsulates the character of our creation. The small but enjoyable games are also credited to him. All this time, however, there has been one guiding member of our team, the unsung hero : Mukesh Sir. He literally held the team together, and ensured an output from the pool of raw, untapped talent in the team. He was there throughout, staying back in school, clearing doubts whenever required, and, very importantly, enforcing discipline and making sure things were always moving, and never got out of hand, even with the delay and approaching deadline. Indeed, the backbone of our team.
Team Diversity
Our team, while in essence residing in the same country, belong to a country where diversity is indeed a byword, where cultures change over the space of a few kilometres. Shubham, Rishabh, Tanay and Varun are students in Delhi, whereas Ayush and Anushri live in different parts of Gujurat, Baroda and Ahmedabad respectively. Anushri spent a large part of her life in the United States of America. This diversity in background means that all the members have their own different styles and ideas. There were also a wide variety of sources, with all kinds of people taking the interviews, from the average Delhi high school student to a Professor of International stature, Dr. Schudler from the United States of America. Also, members of the team living in different areas had never actually met each other, but communicated solely through the internet, overcoming challenges owing to differences in location. There is also a significant discrepancy in ages, with Varun passing out of school, whereas little Aayush is still in 7th grade.
