Because many people are misinformed about bats the students decided to create a website, "Goin' Batty", to help erase the myths and to educate people about these extraordinary animals. Our students formatted the website in a fun way to "grab" the attention of anyone interested in bats. It is easy enough for kids to understand and challenging enough for adults. The Goin' Batty's mascot, Chip, shares not only the facts about bats but the myths too. Those who participate in the links Fascinating Facts, Chips Book of Knowledge, Bat Quiz, Echolocation, Folklore , Vampire Zone, and Bats of the Amazon will discover how remarkable these Chiroptera really are.
