Team Collaboration

Our team comprising of five students of class XI and two teachers as coaches from the same school, had a number of brainstorming sessions before we arrived at the topic. Then it was each student handling a different aspect of the problem of traffic jam.We collected information from various sources namely the internet, newspapers, magazines and books . Using software which was new to us was initially a bit difficult.Once having learnt the skill of incorporating these softwares, each one took on a different task. While Sundaresh created the banner,Desai put together the whole as one unit Nithish collected a lot of information and made the ppts, while Aakash being adept at loading and formatting proved to be a plus point and finally it was Dileep who worked out the intro movie. Together all five worked as a team and using 21st century skills like collaboration , critical thinking , creativity, team work and technology were able to upload the site by the required date.

Team Diversity

Like a beautiful bouquet of flowers this team comprises of students from different parts of the country. All five of them belong to the southern belt of India but are from different states. While two are from Kerala, one is from Karnataka, one from Andhra Pradesh and one from Tamil Nadu. Their up bringing has been similar in the sense they have attended CBSE schools but their socio economic background has been varied. While 3 of them are from families of central government employees ,one is from a quasi govt. employee family and one more belongs to a family from a private sector. All of them, in spite of different backgrounds have spent time together and worked as a team to ensure that the final result was a well made site .
