Team Collaboration

Collaboration:

We effectively utilized our knowledge to explore and present our topic. We set up our groups to maximize our individual strengths. By pairing people with similar learning styles we were better able to articulate our unique visions for learning. For instance, one group took on the task of building the layout of our website. Another group researched and conceptualized the information obtained. The last group wrote complete ideas and refined the website. Our three groups came together and combined our brain power to construct the website. With the website built we can begin inform our audience on our subject. Everyone on our team has made a difference to the making of our website by bringing in different ideas and examples to support our topic.

Team Diversity

Our team diversity was very useful towards the making of our website. Having mixed gender in our group allowed us to attain many different views on the subject at hand. During the research of our website, we used various sources to acquire many different kinds of input regarding our chosen topic. Though our group lacked a large range of diversity we were still able to get views on our research from students at our school. The population of our school consists of African American, Brazilian, and Caucasian students. Our team was Caucasian but as other students had different inputs we added and revised until we came to the final product of our website. Also using Howard Gardener’s theory of Multiple Intelligences we inventoried our individual learning styles and applied our strengths to the various aspects in the development of our website.
