Civil War
1999
Our website on the Civil War will encourage students
to learn more about the Civil War. We hope that
students as well as teachers will use the website
to encourage students to learn. The Website
includes such information as the people, places, and the
events and a time line of the Civil War.
Some of the people that we included on the Website
are Abe Lincoln, Jefferson Davis, U.S. Grant,
Robert E. Lee, Harriet Tubman, and John Wilkes
Booth. Some of the places that we included are
Richmond, Fort Sumter, and the Battle of
Gettysburg. This is our first internet project, we hope to improve and do much better next year. We have learned so much about the Civil War and lots of the information we did
not get to include because there was just to much information
and not enough time to get it already by the deadline.
We were only able to work on it about one hour a day.
We hope that ThinkQuest Jr. enjoys the website as well as students in the future.
