"Netiquette" is a set of informal rules that help our online society behave in a responsible manner. At least that's the serious explanation. Netiquette is also a fun way of communicating with other users throughout the internet which includes using keyboard characters which not only convey how we are feeling, but also save us valuable "typing time" through the use of abbreviations.
