Realizing Calculus
2000
Our entry is about the basics of differential calculus. It is aimed at the students whose study is relevant to higher or applied mathematics. We have divided it into several categories, which are, limits, derivatives and applications besides an introduction containing the preliminaries and a part about those people who contributed in constructing the science of Calculus. Each of these sections was explained by means of definitions, theorems and examples. We tried to clarify some principles and theorems using animations and graphics. In addition, we put the 'Random Computer Problems', which is an interactive section that gives the user computer-generated problems of variable levels of difficulty. The section gives the user a method to try himself with some of the most common problem ideas. While the site was made inte form of a syllabus, it was designed to easily access from one part to another. Therefore it can be useful to someone whosearches for a specific point. The first deals with the limits and the continuity of a function. The second part is about differentiation and its different rules. We then made a third section explaining different applications of differentiation.
