The Virtual History of Ireland, is an innovative web site that allows local communities to contribute to a comprehensive collection of local Irish history and culture. As the site is primarily designed to allow students of all ages to research and learn about local and national culture, local contributors can make a real investment in future generations. This is done to ensure that local culture is not lost in the passing of time, but passed on to our childrens, childrens children.
