The African Culture

Culture is the sum total of the behavioural practices
of a group of people. Culture includes art, music,dressig,food
etc. Farming and hunting are some of the more prominent
occupations in Africa. This is not to undermine the existence
of the other occupatios such as medicine, law pharmacy,
interior decoration and so on. There are many languages in
Africa such as Yoruba, Igbo, Swahili, Arabic, and so on. The
languages of different parts of Africa could be influenced by
the ex-colonies of that part of the continent. Various works of
art are found in Africa. There are sculpural works which could
be naturalistic or stylized. There are also metal sculptures.
African music is also very prominent. Various types of music
are found across the continent. African music is very
traditional and original. In ancient times, the beating of gongs
was a way of communication to people by traditional rulers.
One distinguished cultural identity of Africans, is thir way of
dressing which is also very stylish and original. Africa attires
usually consist of a wrapper, a heavily embroied blouse and
head tie. African food is also assorted with traditional dishes.
Africa, a land rich in culture, a land flowing with milk and
honey, a land with much cultural heritage. Africa, the cradle of
