1999
Korean peninsula! There is a nature that only exists there. We only heard about it, but never knew the place. It's the DMZ(DeMilitarized Zone). When we heard about this place through the mass media we got a lot of interest and curiosity about this place. DMZ is the place where the nature is well preserved and has not been touched by human being. While land mines and dangerous objects coexists. DMZ is the area along the military demarcation line with 4km width, between the North and South Korea's armistice line. 2km wide on both North and South sides. After the Korean war for 50 years the DMZ had no contact with the people. So nature has been preserved better than any other place in the world.
