Team Collaboration

We are a young group that obsessed with a competition in ThinkQuest, because we know that if we win the competition, as the first winner, we will go to San Fransisco. And it is our dream.

Every day, we meet in the school [24 Senior High School Bandung]. We do the project together. Bayu and Dewi usually bring their notebook to help us in finishing the project.

Sometimes, we do it in a fun way, but we still focus on it.

After the bell rang, we gathered in front of eleven science 2 class, and we discuss about where we are going to do the project.

And the library usually becomes our destination, because library in 24 Senior High School is very comfortable. The place is quite, cool, and of course it is a hot spot area. So, it makes us easier to do our project.

Ok now, let’s talk about our project. The history of why we choose Laskar Pelangi (Rainbow Warrior) as our project.

Firstly, we got this inspiration when we were discussing about the theme of our project. At the first time, we chose the theme about local community, but suddenly Laskar Pelangi (Rainbow Warrior) was passed in our mind. So, we thought, why didn’t we choose about “what we learn from our favorite book or movie theme”

And that’s the history.

Team Diversity

Here, we would like to tell you about our team's background in joining the competition. Basically, we are just a teenagers team that obsessed by the ThinkQuest competition. Do you know why? Because we know that if we win the competition as the first winner, so we will go to San Fransisco.

Our team consists of 6 students from different classes but we are in the same program [science program]. we are interested in speaking, learning, and using English in our daily activities. That's why we join in this team. The team's name is 'Encouraged'.

We named our group 'Encouraged' because deep in our heart, we are fully encouraged by the book we featured: 'Laskar Pelangi'. The story inspires us very much, and so the Indonesian teenagers in our age, so we are encouraged to share it to the world.

And do you want to know about our names? We are going to mention it. We are Assyifa, Aulia, Bayu, Dewi, Moetchia and Pritania.

Assyifa is a 16 years old Sundanese girl. Her father is a geologist.

Aulia, a 16 years old girl, comes from Sundanese and Minangkabau parents. Her father is a private employee.

Bayu, a 17 years old boy, comes from a Sundanese family. His father is a police officer.

Dewi, a 16 years old girl, comes from a Javanese family. Her father has retired.

Moetchia, a 17 years old girl, comes from a Javanese family. Her father is a general affairs of a company.

Pritania, a 16 years old girl, comes from a Sundanese family. Her father is a financial adviser.

We do the activities after school, we gather in the library to do some essays and discuss our topic to make it better.
